Slap Your Butt is a multiplayer physical game using mobile games. It was created by a team of 8 people at Nordic Game Jam 2015.

The game is played using mobile phones and NFC tags. To join the game, players must first attach a coloured NFC tag to their back pocket, open the game on their phone, and register a player to the server by tapping their NFC tag; this will place the player on the correct colour team. Once all players have signed up, each players receives an instruction on their phone on which colour they should tap, and upon tapping the NFC tag of the correct colour, a point is scored and a new instruction is given. Play continues until a goal is reached.

I was responsible for working on the backend server for the game using NodeJS.
